Do You or Don't You?

Not a problem as such I don't know how to do this poll thingy so will just pose the question.
Do you stay connected when not using your computer for long periods or don't you? I tend to disconnect, don't see the point of staying on line and Zone Alarm working away like the devil.
Locally, I seem to be in the minority, no one bothers disconnecting from morn to night irrespective.
Just wondering.

I shut down mate i don't see the point in keeping it running if I'm doing nothing.

I keep my computer on from the time I get in from work until beddie byes, and from morning to night when I'm not working. My modem is kept on 24/7.

I leave mine on as much as possible normally over 12 hours a day.
