ntl password recovery?

i've been on the ntl site, but i get an error when i try to go to the website that will alledgedly get my password back, as i can't find the piece of paper it was written on
. Can anyone help?

If it is your default email account. the one you have when you join up, you will need to contact NTL direct by phone.
I had the same problems a few months ago. Contact them and explain what has happened. They will ask you some security questions and then arrange to change it from their side for you.

I've searched all over the NTL site but couldn't find the page you showed in your link. The URL doesn't actually have any mention of NTL which is a bit strange. As Andrew says phoning is the quickest option. Have a look at this page.

Spencer, your link gave me Error 404. I always call NTL on 0800 052 2000.

Unfortunately your first link takes us back to the page that the original poster gave us. If you try and use it you simply get a VBScript error 'Permission Denied'.
Your second link takes us to the same page I linked too, but which again leads nowhere except to tell you to use the phone becuse if you click on the link on the final page there is nothing on it about retrieving a password.
Yet again the NTL web site has demonstrated how appallingly awful it really is. This is just one of many places on that site that lead you nowhere.
