Do the upgrade If your computer meets AOLs Spec
Even on 256Mb there is little Jerkovision on Video,There is a great Live "Radio" channel, I have been watching the Olympics live off the BBC,Quality is good
Lots of things on the Web become open to you
And Downloading times are brilliant,For instance the new XP( SP2 update) on Dialup is about a day to download .It's 4 hours @256MBs and 2 hours@512MBs
If you can afford it go for the 512MB. AOL are offering it at the 256 MB price(for a year)to High useage/long service customers, but you'll have to ring the BB Sign-up line to see if you qualify (Just ask if there are any current offers/ promotions on?)

Re: AOL

512Kb is the way to go - and it's worth paying an extra couple of quid for.

Have a look at http://www.adslguide.org.uk especially the Compare page. Compare ISPs like Eclipse Internet, Freedom 2 Surf, Nildram.net and Zen Internet with the likes of Wanadoo and AOL - you'll see that AOL rates pretty low compared to some of the others.

Re: AOL

I forgot to add Online gaming is made for BB I'm playing Runescape and Conquer Online, with No hangups or slow responses,So I'd say the game you are signed up to will be more reliable as to connections
