BT Broadband installation problem

I have just received my BT Broadband Basic software and hardware. I disconnected my old modem etc and installed software and the hardware after prompt from software installation. The PC restarted and then gave me an error "Create Dun has encountered a problem and needs to close we are sorry for inconvenience". I ran the diagnosis thing that came on CD and it failed the Primary DNS server Ping test and the Well known Server #1 and #2 test. I have been on the phone waiting to be connected to someone all yesterday and all today. I am at my wits end. I run Windows XP. Does anyone have any helpful advice for me other than to throw the lot in the bin?

Re: BT Broadband installation problem

Do you have a Firewall installed, either your own or the Windows XP one?

Do you know that we're all in line for succession to the throne? Really?
Well, if forty-eight million, two hundred thousand, seven hundred and one people died I'd be Queen.
