LCD tv connection problems.

Hi there,

having problems with the desktop and 32" LCD TV.

Last week it was hooked up no bother.

Took the cable off to loan to a friend. Reconnected it and now all I get is sight of the windows booting up and then a blank/black screen.

Its the same cable. Connected in the same way.

Cable is one of the ones with blue adapters at either end, 15 pin male to male.

What have I done and more importantly how can I resolve the problem?

Thanks,

Daren

Re: LCD tv connection problems.

Sounds to me that there may be a bent pin (need a fine screwdriver to push it into line) Need a steady hand ..Could also be a fleck of debris masking a pin? Check by blowing into the socket ends, Blow too into the female sockets.
