web user printer group test

Just read the printer group test in issue 181, but I don't believe any articles have appeared regarding the quality of each manufacturers ink. Channel 4's Gadget Show did a test a couple of years ago, to see who's ink lasted the longest before fading.
Using a big bright light to simulate the sun, they covered strategic areas of a group of photos and left them for a set period (days, weeks, can't remember exactly). After said period of time, they assessed who's ink had faded and who's hadn't.
They discovered that Epson inks gave the best results, with Canon a close second. I was pleased, because they are the two makers I tend to use for printers.

Just thought you might like to know about it.
