brother dcp110 not printing

the above printer is not printing black other 3 colours are ok
changed the cartridge for a new one and run the clean sequence 5 times as it says in the book any other things i can try ? thanks

as no one has any ideas best i can come up with is take it to bits see if there is a blockage if that fails the skip beckons
