Re: Sanyo VPCT700 7MP Digital Camera Problem

I am having the same problem with my sanyo digital camera vpc-t700. I have windows xp on my laptop and when I put the camera in, the camera goes onto the correct screen for a split second them switches itself off! The laptop is also not recognising it as an external hard drive. It did once, just for a second. I have installed all appropriate drivers. I have also tried it on my pc which also has xp. I took it back to Argos who sent it back to the manufacturor. Argos just called me to tell me that there is no problem with the camera, I have to go and collect it and they suggested it might be a problem with the usb lead but that doesnt leave me any better off...I am going to Argos tomorrow so I will keep you updated.

Can you not just use an SD card reader instead of bothering with the USB? I find it easier to transfer pics this way.
