Connecting a network printer to Vista Home premium

I've just bought a PC running windows Vista home premium. I can link my other 2 PCs running XP and the folders all show from each PC.
I've 2 printers attached to a PC running XP.
I've changed the workgroup name on the Vista PC to MSHOME as it wouldn't detect the printers when it was the Vista default 'workgroup' . When I ask Vista to add a from the network printer it searches and finds the 2 printers but when I try and add them it syas 'Windows cannot connect to the printers, access denied'.

Any ideas
