Having just installed a wireless keyboard and mouse, I am now unable to come out of the standby mode. Previously I would just click the mouse or tap a key on the keyboard and would then be up and running. I came out of standby by pressing the power button quickly but I do not know whether this is correct and it took ages to fire up. Any help on this matter would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

By definition, standby mode closes all your peripherals down, particularly USB devices. I presume the wireless receiver for your mouse is USB so pressing any key won't send a signal to the PC. |
