Deleting shortcut

Hi All,
I have a shortcut on my desktop that I can't get rid of.
It wont let me drag it into the recycle bin ( a circle with a diagonal line through it appears ), and r/click there's no option to delete it either..
The shortcut is a " HP share to web upload " folder..
I think it's for uploading photos to an online photo printers such as jessops etc.

I think it is associated with an HP scanner. Do you have one installed ?
go to Start > Run > type in msconfig > click OK and disable the hpgs2wnf.exe process in the startup tab. You can then delete the shortcut
