disk drive problem

Hi I Have tryed to install some new games and found that disk drive is not working i have tryed a few different disks and all the same. the drive makes a noise like its gonna work but nothing, i have no idea about this stuff, i have tryed doing driver updates through device manager but there is none available. thanks for your help.
