Toshiba M50 Laptop

The signal from the S vidio is terrable quality, also it has got very slow I
am using 7GB of memory any solutions.I run Windows XP

cant get my sd cards to be recognised the comp does"a dump or something ha ha ha dont get time to view it can any one help
