"safely remove hardware "icon

How can I get rid of this icon, do not want to click on it incase it uninstalls something! Has been there for ages.

Right click the Task Bar > Properties > Task Bar > Customize > Highlight 'Safely Remove' > In the drop down menu, choose 'Always Hide' > OK/Apply
It wont uninstall anything should you click on it. Don't be so shy with your System, experiment now and again. It will always warn you if you are doing something silly!
