Desktop Items
|
|
I am working on a networked PC, which is running on Windows XP and each time I delete items from my desktop they reappear a few days later, when I log on again. Does anyone know why this could be?

If they reappear every time you log on, it's probably the way the network was set up and/or the way network drives have been mapped.
Is this happening on a home computer?

It's a work computer. i think it has something to do with the way my profile is setup on the network. do you know the correct way to set up the user profile on a network?

Yes, I thought so. Sadly, this forum is for home computer users so no help can be offered. Have a word with your network administrator.
