Hi

I have just reconfigured my Acer laptop and the key board is a little out of sorts. When I try to type the @ sign it comes up with " and vice versa. Could someone please help by telling me the way to reverse this please.

Go to:

Start > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Click the Languages tab >
In the Text services and Input languages section, click Details > In the Default Input Language section, change to English (United Kingdom) > Apply/OK

You can temporarily change this by pressing the Shift + Alt keys should you need to. Pressing them again returns it to the correct UK setting.

Happy New Year.
