Hi, Run windows XP. For the past few months I have use a HP2300 printer.
this morning went to print and up poped a message "No printer installed"
Checked the wires all ok.Looked in the printer file and was empty as if no printer instaled. Un pluged printer switched of computer. Switch on computer. Plug in printer expecting to have new hardware detected. Nothing.Did a system restore back 7 days. Checked printer file, empty. Undid system restore and lo and behold all now back to normal. What is happening? Is it worth posting a hijack scan?
