I used Yahoo widgets for a few months now and quite enjoyed them. On my desktop were 3 perminant widgets and the dock was usually hidden.

The past few weeks however, My poc ran dead slow and I kept loosing connection to the net, even while using it!
I did a disc cleanup, defrag etc and still the same thing.
I have Nortons 360 and have no maleware or viruses.

I then Uninstalled the widget and since then, my pc has ran fast and my connection has been fine!

It is a shame as the widgets are useful and interesting but personally, I would rather not have the aggro with it messing with my pc.
