mp3 files gone

All of my mp3 files have dissapeared of my hard drive. The only thing that may have done this, is that I recently installed quicktime and then shortly after unistalled it. Could quicktime have moved them?

Re: mp3 files gone

which windows are you using, you can try start/search.type in MP3. this might locate them if they are still on your hard drive.
if i had known i would live this long, i would have taken better care of myself.

Re: mp3 files gone

They probably haven't disappearred just been re-associated with Quick Time

Follow Bricats instructions to check, and post back if you find them and we'll get them re-associated with the program of your choice

yeah, in xp. Go to search and tick the music box and leave the field blank.
This will find all music files on your hard drive. :)
