Which MP4 to choose?

Having never purchased an MP4 player before i would like some advice on which would be most suitable to me.
It needs a screen size suitable for short video's; it needs to be able to play audio books & podcasts. An FM radio would be good, ability to record radio programmes even better, and storage for minimum 1000 songs.

You don't say what your budget is, but I would highly recommend the Creative range, especially the Zen range. You can get refurbished ones from creative at vastly lower prices than the retail price
The 4Gb would do you but it has the advantage of being able to add an SD card too, thus extended the capacity
