Windows media player

When I insert a cd into my laptop with vista and windows media player it immediately starts ripping even though I only want it to play. I have NOT ticked the box which says "rip cd when inserted" Hope someone can help.

Go to the Control Panel.
Select Hardware and Sound
Under AutoPlay, select Change default settings for media or devices.
Use the dropdowns to customize the settings.
For media types that you want to have no default action set, select Ask Me Every Time.
Click Save.
or click the Reset all defaults button.
