Deleting Tracks in iTunes

Despite looking through the Help section on iTunes i can't delete some unwanted tracks.
Whenever I put a CD into my disc drive, iTunes asks me if I want to add them to iTunes. I hit YES but the tracks on the albums don't work and have timings of "789 (hours):57 (minutes):13 (seconds)". These are the tracks I'm trying to delete. (As an aside, I have to add the tracks to my Music folder and then import them to iTunes, track by track).
The version of iTunes I have is the latest one.
Any advice on how I can delete these tracks?

Obviously a database error within iTunes, I'd say that a reinstall of iTunes would do the trick.
Ensure these incorrect files aren't stored on your PC before you reinstall.
