WMP11 playing dvd's

hi, Is it possible to play/watch dvds in WMP11. cant find the decoder plugin required to do this. Think there was a free decocder for WMP10 but not sure where to get one for the 11 version, also can you watch dvds in realplayer. ta

Of course you can, download and install the K Lite Codec pack, this should resolve your problem.

OK THANKS, this allows me to play dvds in the windows media classic , but when i try in WMP11 it just locks up?  ill try and reinstall wmp11

its ok, i just found a plugin called mpeg2dvd plugin which was on a ulilty disk i bought from ebay a while back, it works now, otherwise i think u have to pay for them according to the microsoft website,

the plugin also works for realplayer aswell.
