Please help. I thought I'd clean my pc up after reading WebUser and downloaded ccleaner. Everything seemed to go so well until my daughter went to itunes and her video podcasts that she had bought and saved on the hard drive, have sound but no video, just a plain green screen. She checked her ipod and the video is fine on there, thank goodness. She's not too happy with me tho. Can anyone tell me what I should do - I'm not too techie tho, sorry.

Not sure what has happened but perhaps CCleaner has been too aggressive and removed a codec.
Try reinstalling iTunes first and see if that rectifies the issue.
Let me know if it doesn't

Thanks for the suggestion but itunes and ipods are definitely daughters domain and I dare not touch them. Will she loose her playlists if we reinstall? She downloaded a podcast today to test and whilst it showed green on itunes it worked perfectly well on her ipod. We just might have to live with this as neither of us are very technical but thank you for your help.

Back up the playlists before she attempts anything.
Here's how to:
- Open iTunes.
- Select one of your playlists from the Source list.
- From the File menu, choose Export Song List. A Save dialog appears.
- From the Format pop-up menu, choose XML.
- From the Where pop-up menu, choose Desktop.
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each of the playlists that you have created in iTunes.
Then to restore:
- 1. From the File menu, choose Import.
- 2. Navigate to and select one of the exported playlist files on your Desktop.
- 3. Click Choose.
- 4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 for each of the playlist files that you have exported to the Desktop.
- Important: Some playlist information, such as Play Count and Last Played date, is not preserved.
