Hi all, Some years ago I did some music tracks using PS Music 2000 and PS2 MTV Music Generator and then recorded them to cassette. I'm now looking to preserve the tracks I did either by transferring the music from Cassette to PC, and then to CD, but the trouble with this method is that there is a lot of hissing in the background, as you do with the old style cassettes! So, ideally, I'd like to be able to record direct from the PS2 straight to PC using the cheapest (or free) method possible. What software do I need, or cables, etc? The PS2 doesn't have left/right phono output as it's the slimline model. Am really keen to preserve the music I did and anyone who could help with what I'm wishing to do, I will be very grateful! Many thanks.

Ah. Have I stumped you all for a solution to the above?

I haven't the foggiest idea as to what connections are on the back of your PS2, can you enlighten me? |

I had forgotten all about my question! Fortunately I have found the answer and have managed to record Music 2000 songs I did direct from PS2 to PC using phono cables (twin phono to 3.5mm jack). Music was recorded using Sound Recorder (Vista) and files then converted from wma to mp3 and subsequently burnt to CD. Well chuffed as the PS2 now has a new home.
