media player 11 won't reduce to left hand top of screen

For some reason media player 11 won't resize to top of left hand of screen when i click on the middle box on the crossing bar. anyone got any ideas wot to do

Right click on the windows media player icon ( top left hand corner of screen ) , choose "view" , then "skin mode".

thanks for your help fifeflyer.Tried that but you just end up with a cut down version of media player. What it is when I go to media player, it comes up full screen , and I want it to reduce by using the minimise and maximise in the top right hand corner next to the red cross. It used to work fine but now for some reason it doesn't. It is nothing critical ,I just don't know why it will not go down to the reduced full media player.
