trying to get radio on media centre but which is the jack to plug the antenna in on an acer desktop

My bad, didn't read the Media Centre part, your TV card requires the FM input usually located next to the TV input.

the antenna that came with my pc only has a small jack like head phones dont see anywhere to put it in

It should be, however if you look round the back of the tower you should see connections similar to those in the picture I linked above.

yes looked round back like in your picture but the fm socket is similar in size as the tv one (bout the same size as coaxle connection)but the antenna wire that came with comp is a small plug in type like speakers,headphones,etc
