Denon Music Manager and iTunes

I've recently bought a Denon hi-fi system with a hard drive to store around 40gb of my music. With the unit I got "Denon Music Manager" which shows all the tracks stored on the system when connected to my PC (the hi-fi is also connected to the PC).
Also on my PC I have iTunes which of course I use to transfer tracks to my iPod.
Is there some method of transferring music between iTunes and Denon Music Manager / my hi-fi?

Itunes will probably let you add extra folders, but how is the drive on the hifi seen by the PC?.
Does the Denon s/w allow you to add extra folders where your music is?, or just only ever expects it on its own hard disk.?
