Hi Forum, I have a Microstar International MS-6585 MOBO with integrated sound card. I have always used "microsoft Plus! Analogue Recorder" to record my vinyl etc to CD, and also to record streaming radio/sounds and stuff. Whilst recording from a 3rd party device (Turntable, cassette deck, Minidisc etc) works fine, I can no longer record streaming, or any sound played from the PC? I still hear the sound, but my recorder says It cannot detect any sound levels. I have tried Audacity as an alternative, but the same problem exists. I haven't changed anything in my set up, and every other sound/music/input/output works exactly as it should. Anyone with any ideas please???? Nick |

First possible thing to look at is in Sounds in Control Panel and check nothing is unchecked or muted. |

Hi Mouse, Firstly, sorry for posting in the wrong forum! That was the first thing I checked, all unticked and not muted and "AUX" selected as the device to record. |
