Software to record radio internet streaming onto laptop?

Hi all,

Hope you are all well???

Please can someone advise me what they would recommend regarding which software or program to use to record radio internet streaming from Windows Media Player?

I've tested "Soundtap" as a free demo. Don't know if its worth buying or not. Plus have downloaded "Wiretap" but it seems to be only for Apple Mac coz I can't open the file as the file extension is ".dmp".

Adobe audition also been mentioned to me, but I can't afford to buy that one!!

Thank you!!

I think the best software for this is Replay Music by Applian which you have to buy but is fantastic for what you want. It will rip Pandora.com for example. However if the radio station you want is on Shoutcast.com there are several free ones. Try Ripcast or Streamripper or Stationripper. The problem with audacity is that you only get a single stream (not seperate tracks) and it will record the sounds of your computer along with the music, however it will work.
