Licence problems and DRM in WMP 11

Hi I have recently downloaded Windows media player 11 on my computer (windows xp). I then used a secure site www.tescodownloads.com to purchase tracks. I download them with no problems but when i try to play in WMP 11 i get error messages saying "Windows Media Player cannot play, burn, rip, or sync the protected file because you do not have the appropriate rights.". After looking through m,any FAQs they say i need to reset my DRM by redownloading etc but this just doesnt work! No idea what else to do! When i look at properties of the song in WMP it say "the file is missing media usage rights" but how because i downloaded it from a legal place?? Im so stuck dont know what else to do and i want to play the music i have paid for! Please help!

As soon as the licence has been sent to you, the track will play. Once you have played the track for the first time, you no longer need to stay connected to the internet to play the track again, or at any time in the future.
When closing down your media player, you might be asked if you want to 'back-up' licences that you have recently acquired. If asked by your media player, we recommend that you always back-up your licences, as these will be needed if you ever want to re-download content.
Now you can listen to your tracks on your PC whenever you want - or transfer them to CD or a portable music player without having to be online.
Some tracks will have a licence limitation on the number of times they can be copied on to a CD, or transferred to a portable music player. This is known as the 'rights' that you have been given with the licence for the track. Once you reach the licence limitations, you will not be able to copy or transfer that track any more.

I have done all of this already and I still have the same problem! Nothing seems to resolve the issue. Do not know what else to do! It doesnt even try and download a licence from tesco just gives me the error message straight away about not owning the licence. Have tried other players eg winamp and have the same problem. Could it be my compuer? A problem with the DRM files maybe the hardrive?

Do you have an active internet connection when you play these files?
Is your firewall blocking WMP11?

Nope i have tried turning it off and playing the music but it doesnt change anything! It really doesnt mkae sense to me!
