is there any way of transferring the music from my iPod to my new pc, it has windows vista if that makes any difference, i plugged my iPod in and it asked me to change my iPod to this new computer and sync the music, what has happened is my music has been removed from my iPod, i want to make sure i don't lose all the music from my wife's iPod( she has a lot more songs on her's than i have)

Have a read of this web page . There's a couple of ways to do it. Also read the bit about authorizing your new PC for the itunes store bought content if you have any.

thanks or the help guys, i downloaded a program from smash-software.com which allowed me to sort it out.
i had already saved the purchased items it was just everything else i had to try and save.
