Im new to computing so could someone tell me if i can downloadd straight from my music albums on windows media player to an ipod

You will need to have itunes installed on your PC first before you put the music onto your ipod.
Download from here
Once that has been done then you can import into itunes whatever you want from your PC using "import" under the "File" heading.
