creative P580 speaker system problem

I have a Mesh sysyem , these speakers came with it. There is a front speaker, 2 front 2 rear 1 sub woofer. I have only ever managed to get the front 2 and centre and sub working. when i emailed mesh they told me to download
ftp://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/misc/audio/alc650/alc650_345.zip
then set my settings to 5.1
all of which i did.
when opening the download file.I had a media player from Realtek and an icon for av rack.
I still cannot get sounds from my full speaker set up...?????
help please.

Not sure why they've asked you to download realtek drivers, unless that is your soundcard? Can you confirm the make and model of your sound card?

Thanx Mouse, but I sussed it.Purely by luck after trying many ways of connecting.
Advanced controls for master volume
other controls , then enable "rear speakers connected to line in".
That easy.
