DVD burner,diect from Google

Hi,
I just got a new DVD burner from Sony,is it possible do burn dvd's straight off google?or does one have to download the movie first?

I thought the drive was NEC, however that's neither here nor there. No you cannot burn straight from Google.

Its NEC/Sony,so must first download from Google and some shows thats out?is that right,some you can,some you cant?
