iPod Get info for CD's
|
|
I have just purchased my first Ipod and am having problems putting CD info onto the tracks. When I import you only get track01 etc. I have already set the system to automatically get info and tried the manual get info button. Any ideas? I am using XP. If I load th eCD into Media Player all the track names come up no problem. All CD's are official (no copies) and computer is connected to the web Thanks.

Make sure your firewall isn't blocking itunes from accessing the internet.

If that isn't the answer then use WMP to collect the music data (be careful, sometimes this info is incorrect), then when you ask i-Tunes to search for your music, it will have the correct information.
There is an add-on that you can use that integrates with WMP, so that you can synch your i-Pod with WMP11 and not have to use i-Tunes.

You could always try Wikipedia, there's loads of info on bands and usually a dicography. Odessa

The best search engine for music is Discogs
