When I try to burn music using Windows Media Player 11, it tells me to "connect a burner" despite having a built in CD/DVD Drive in my PC? I also have an external CD Drive and both of these have worked okay up till now. I use Nero and Magix to burn and both of these work with no problems. Can anyone help please? |

Welcome to Web User message boards. Click Start > RUN> type in Services.msc >Double click IMAPI CD-Burning COM Service> Turn it on let it load. Try burning again. Although to be honest, if you use Nero, there's really no point in using WMP for burning IMO. |

Try uninstalling the drive from the device manager and reboot the PC. |
