Pesky .wma files

I have looked through the posts, but cannot find any info. on a file converter that converts .wma files to mp3. I was mucking around with my sound problems and got Windows Media Player to play some of my MP3s..and somehow they were converted to this format that I do not want.

I have googled, looked in SongofSpy, Pricelessware etc. but no tool seems to fit the bill.

Any suggestions anyone?

PS...I did find a link on one thread to Quintessential Player..Think Jonny recommended it. I have downloaded it and must say I like it...Thanks for the tip.

Re: Pesky .wma files

I have used a few different ones but i cant remember the names, not a lot of use there then.

But just hop over to http://www.download.com and search for MP3 converters. Most of them will only work to a limted time or number of files. But all do as they should.

Good luck

http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm. You will also want to
download the File selector tool from the same website to convert folders.

Do as Nirvana advised Anniel, also you may need to download one of the wma codecs. I had to download version 8, even though I have media player 9 installed. Hope this sorts you out.
