pinnacle studio version 8.12

can anyone help with this problem, i have created a movie in pinnacle studio 8 and everything was fine untill i tried to add a track from a c d , the track is copied onto the movie but it will not copy the whole of the track it loses the last part of the music ? i have tried everything i could think of and i still can't get the complete full length of the track even though it gives the whole length in the audio dialogue box.

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

Is the movie the same length as the audio track? If not you may need to edit the audio to fit the length of the movie.

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

the movie length is about 13 minutes and the c d tracks that i want to add are three different lengths but they do add up to 13 mins , the first track is 3 mins 19 secs but it cuts off before the end.

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

Is there any option to make the music fit to the length of the clip, advanced features at all?

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

I had a similar problem when i made a slide show using ProShow Gold. It would always clip off the last minute or so of the last song.
To get round this i just extended the audio track past the end of the video by the same amount of time that was being clipped.
Give it a try, i know your using a different program but its worth a go

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

In that case, try adding a blank space to the end of your video. This way there will be enough room for your audio.

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

i've added extra frames, spaces and tried everything and still it will not copy the whole track onto the movie, i might have to abandon this version and update to the latest !!

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

Id try an earlier one first as it will be much cheaper unless you are able to get free updates with Pinnacle.

Re: pinnacle studio version 8.12

i have given up with the version studio 8 as i have now downloaded a free trial of the new version studio10.5 and it is the dog's, if you go to the pinnacle web site you can give it a try for 30 days and then upgrade if you want.
this version is as simple as my old version only with this you can burn the movie onto a disc without using another program as i had to do before.
give a try i think you'll find it useful.
all the best
