help needed, tmobile web and walk modem- cant use hotmail or msn?

hello
Im hoping someone will be able to help me.
I have a compaq presario laptop and have currently used a speedtouch modem and wireless connections without any problems. I have now gotten a tmobile web and walk modem as I no longer have a home phone.
I can get it to work okay, the content lock has been lifted so I can get on lots of websites BUT I cannot get into hotmail, msn or facebook..(although myspace is ok!)
Everytime I click on it it say 'page cannot be displayed' grrrr
On msn the trouble shoot says something about gateway being offline?
Im using windows xp and internet explorer version 6.
I just cant understand why I cant use hotmail! Even Tmobile have no idea.
Please help!

If you just bare with me my brother in-law works for a T-Mobile call centre I will send him an e-mail now with your problem in and Il get back to you

right then, my brother in-law can get on hotmail with his web n walk hub that means that T-Mobile are not blocking the service there could be something with the browser try a different browser ive posted some below take your pick let me know if it works for you or not
