PAYG service and my Broadband
|
|
This is probably a stupid question.
I have a broadband connection. If I sign up to an ISP website and register a PAYG account so that I can access that site do I need to switch off my broadband connection and then dial up and pay? (for example Tiscali PAYG)
I think the answer is no but I want to be sure.

hello moodiesburn do you not already have a ISP, paid for, to provide internet access through your broadband connection?

Can I be clear what you are asking. You have a Broadband connection at home and you also want a Dial-up connection, is that correct? Can I ask why you need to do that?

Sorry I have not been clear. I have a broadband connection with Eclipse. I previously had a dialup contract with V21 and could access member forums. As I am with a new provider I am no longer able to access forums on sites that I am not signed into. If I register with a PAYG account on any other site will I have to log in through dial up to join the sites forums or can I simply log in using my broadband connection. When I tried to register at Tiscali and V21 (Biscit) I could only register if I signed up to a package (min. PAYG)
If this doesn't make sense, ignore me.
