motorola phonetools

Hope someone can help me with this problem - it's really getting me tearing out what little hair I have left !!

I have a Motorola K1 mobile phone, which I connect onto my desktop pc (XP) using Motorola phonetools and usb. I've now bought a notebook running Windows 2000 Pro, but can't get it to install the phone. I've installed the phonetools from disc, but every time I connect the phone and go through 'install new hardware wizard' it give me the error message 'the installation failed because a function driver was not specified for this instance'

Where do I find this function driver ? How do I 'specify' it ?

Thanks in advance

Two problems with this post. First, The original post was 4 months ago. I doubt he's still waiting for an answer. Second, your link hasn't been formed correctly.
