I hope that someone somewhere can help me with my laptop.

My darling baby son dropped a cordless phone smack bang onto the keys. It seemed okay, but then a blue screen popped up saying that if this was the first time we were seeing it to shut it down, so we did.

When we rebooted it, it came on but within a minute was shutting down, again with the same message screen. It said to follow the the instructions about removing newly loaded stuff but there was nothing new on it!

After that it just wouldn't load at all. Came up the message saying that no OS was found.

My other half has taken into work and run the diagnostic tree but that came up with everything as fine.

We have tried to run the reboot disc but that didn't seem to do anything, maybe we didn't do something? But it just didn't run.

Can anyone help??? Getting laptop withdrawal symtoms LOL!!!
