unfortunatly I only have USB ports - No ethernet port. There is a small telephone type port at the rear of the computer, but I believe that is for a dial-up connection rather than a broadband connect. After numerous attempts I have now managed to get back on line to write this reply. Could the problem lie with the way the computer and modem identify and respond to one-another?
