Thanks for your adviceI couldn't understand the reason for not installing any updates and I have asked two different people on the help line to Medion and they both said definitely not to use automatic updates!! Having said this when I bought the computer in February it was set up to use them. Very strange. When I downloaded and installed SP1 it was done very quickly not like you said taking a long time. If I don't install it what are the consequences if any?
