I have Vista Premium installed on a laptop with 2 user accounts. One of the accounts loads up quickley, and responds to everything well, however, the other user account loads very slowly, and has started to act strangely.
Whenever I try to open any folder, the folder opens,then all my icons on the desktop disappear, also the taskbar disappears, and they then reappear , but the folder has gone!
I have checked for adware, spyware, viruses, ran Regcure, you name it I,ve done it, but I cannot solve the problem,
I have also tried system restore, but after completing, I get the message that System Restore has been unsuccessful, an unexplained error has occurred. (To be honest System Restore has never worked on the laptop, although it works fine on my main pc with same operating instructions).
However, I digress. Can someone please point me in the right direction, as I am now at a loss as to what to do.
