If you click on the link BurrWalnut gave you and run the Advisor it will give you all the info you need.
You may need 64 bit drivers for your printer,scanner etc but these are no problem downloading from the manufactures, ( Epson,Lexmark Etc)
I run Xp Home on one machine, Vista home premium on a laptop and XP ProX64 on another. By far, in my opinion, the 64 bit is lights ahead.
