Good advice from BurrWalnut about 32 bit being safer but 64bit is the future and is far better for gaming.
I have XPx64 and I find it far more stable than the 32bit.
BurrWalnuts advice re your hardware being compatible with 64bit is a fair point but most drivers can be downloaded with no trouble.
For what its worth, with your system, Id plump for 64bit.
