Thanks for getting back
I changed the BIOS to first check the DVD drive and bingo it started to load the RAMDISK image.
However after selecting language it only offers me an option to "Restore to factory default". In effect destroying all the data on the drive.
Is there not a way to just re-install Vista without losing data? Or is this type of budget setup where you have to do your own back on first setup the bug barer?
