Re: Vista Update problems

I have this morning gone down the route of the Startup Repair option via F8 and advanced options.
As my issue isn't a Startup one it returns a 'No problems' were found.
The System Restore via the advanced options doesn't go back far enough in time to when the Updates started to fail.
I have just tried the Windows complete PC restore and the DVD's supplied aren't recognised as a backup!
On exploring the discs, they do indeed hold the ACER recovery information.

I have tried inserting the 1st DVD on Startup, but it ignores it and starts up normally.
Surely modern Systems, especially with no floppy drives are designed to check the DVD drive first.
